Glass Office Doors London

A glass partition is only as good as its door. Prime Glass Interiors supplies and installs frameless, framed, hinged and sliding glass office doors across London, specified to match the partition system and the way the room is used.

Benefits

Why choose glass office doors

  • 01

    Matched to the partition

Frames, finishes and ironmongery are selected to sit naturally within the surrounding glazing.

  • 02

    Smooth, reliable operation

Hinges, closers and tracks are chosen for the door weight and frequency of use, then adjusted on site.

  • 03

    Privacy when needed

Perimeter and drop-down seals can improve acoustic separation for meeting and interview rooms.

  • 04

    Accessible design

Door widths, thresholds and handle positions can be planned with accessibility in mind.

The system

Choosing the right glass door

Frameless glass doors use a single sheet of toughened glass with patch fittings or rails and suit minimal, frameless partitions. Framed glass doors use a slim aluminium surround, which gives a more solid feel and allows better seals.

Sliding doors save space where a swinging door would clash with furniture or circulation. Pivot doors create a striking entrance for boardrooms and reception areas.

We can also supply doors for existing partitions, subject to survey of the current system.

Applications

  • Meeting room and boardroom entrances
  • Private office doors
  • Reception and suite entrances
  • Space-saving sliding doors
  • Pivot feature doors
  • Replacement doors in existing partitions

FAQ

Glass Office Doors: common questions

Can glass office doors be locked?

Yes. Both frameless and framed glass doors can be fitted with locks, and framed doors can be prepared for access control. Requirements should be confirmed at survey so the right hardware is specified.

Can you add a glass door to an existing partition?

Often, yes. We will need to survey the existing system to confirm profiles, glass thickness and structural capacity before recommending a compatible door.
