The system
What “Crittall-style” means
Crittall is a brand name long associated with steel-framed windows. “Crittall-style” describes internal partitions that recreate that aesthetic: slim black frames divided into smaller panes by horizontal and vertical glazing bars.
Internal Crittall-style partitions are commonly made from aluminium or steel profiles with applied or structural glazing bars. The choice depends on the look you want, budget, and the weight the floor and fixings can take.
Because the grid is so visible, set-out matters. We align bars with door heads, furniture, windows and ceiling features so the screen feels designed for the room.

FAQ
Crittall-Style Partitions: common questions
Are your partitions made by Crittall?
“Crittall-style” describes the look. We specify suitable internal glazing systems that recreate the slim-bar steel window aesthetic. If a project requires a specific manufacturer, we can discuss options.
Do Crittall-style partitions cost more than plain glass partitions?
Generally yes, because the frames and glazing bars add material and labour. The final cost depends on size, bar density, glass type and door requirements, which is why we provide project-specific quotations.
