Glass and privacy are not opposites. Prime Glass Interiors supplies and installs acoustic glass partitions for meeting rooms, boardrooms and private offices across London, using laminated and double-glazed systems detailed to reduce sound transfer.

Benefits
Acoustic glass and sealed doors reduce how clearly conversations carry into neighbouring spaces.
Teams can work in quieter rooms while staying visually connected to the wider office.
We recommend glass build-ups and details based on the room’s use, rather than a one-size-fits-all product.
We consider ceiling voids, wall abutments and floor junctions, which often matter as much as the glass.
The system
Sound travels through the weakest point. A high-performing glass panel will still underperform if sound can pass over the partition through a ceiling void, around an unsealed door, or through a gap at a wall junction.
Acoustic laminated glass uses a specialist interlayer to dampen vibration. Double-glazed systems separate two panes with an air gap for further improvement. Door seals and drop-down seals close the gaps around doors.
Laboratory ratings describe products under test conditions. Real-world performance depends on the full installation, so we discuss expectations openly and, where needed, recommend complementary measures such as ceiling barriers.

FAQ
No partition makes a room completely soundproof. Acoustic glass partitions can significantly reduce sound transfer and improve speech privacy, but results depend on the whole installation including doors, ceilings and wall junctions.
Not always. For many meeting rooms, acoustic laminated single glazing with sealed doors is sufficient. Double glazing is typically considered where higher privacy is needed, such as boardrooms or HR rooms.
